My mom suffers from insomnia and I really could never understand it. I thought, "if you're tired, go to bed!"
Now I know, first-hand, that going to bed does not guarantee sleep.
I have to work in the morning....subbing in a Headstart classroom of 18 kids. How in the world am I gonna function?
Making matters worse is the fact that Mike is suffering from a head cold and took LOTS of Benedryl before going to bed.
Now he is sprawled over 3/4 of the bed. I can't get him to BUDGE!!! Ugh.
Ok....I'm gonna try to count sheep.
G'nite....I hope!

Welcome to my world... For the record, insomnia rarely strikes when you've got a day of nothing ahead of you...only when you KNOW you need to sleep. Its a vicious cycle. And none of the usual stuff helps me sleep... grrrrr...
That stinks. Hope your day went good regardless.
I've suffered from Insomnia for years. It's really horrible to deal with. And the more tired you are, the worse it can be.I'm taking Ambien now, and that helps some. It's such a blessed experience to get a good nights sleep. I hope it's only temporary for you.
